About the Center
The Center for Children, Law and Ethics combines the interest and involvement of law students, local, national and international advisors, and the well-known scholarship of Director David Smolin. The Center facilitates the production of meaningful, influential scholarship, projects and advice in the field of children’s issues.
The mission of the Center is to further the welfare and best interests of children locally, nationally and internationally, through working collaboratively with organizations and persons engaged in furthering those ends, and by training students to contribute substantively to the field of children’s issues. CCLE Online was created in 2023 for students and professionals to share their views and scholarship on this area of the law.
